Records, 1639-1970, including account books of Robert Jones & Co., 1911-1920; Pennant Williams family papers, 1895-1948; land tax ledgers, assessments and papers, [c.1880]-1936; press cuttings, 1883-1950; poor rate assessments, Rhuddlan, 1816-1817; poor rate assessments, St Asaph, 1794-1796; deeds, mainly relating to land in Caerwys, Rhyl, and Rhuddlan, 1670-1960; sale particulars for properties in Denbighshire and Flintshire, 1849-1963; archaeological notes, mainly relating to the Prestatyn area, 1936-1966; maps and plans, 1864-1960; and miscellaneous, 1639-1937.

Administrative / Biographical History

T.T. Pennant Williams (fl. 1955-1973), was an employee of Robert Jones & Co., solicitors, of Rhyl, Flintshire. The firm operated mainly in Rhyl and Rhuddlan, Flintshire. Mr Pennant Williams, who resided in Prestatyn, had interests in the archaeological and historical study of Flintshire.
