Anna Ali-Shah, née Manicardi, wrote her academic thesis on Graves's writing, and the correspondence begins with the arrangements for her first visit to Majorca to meet Graves. Later correspondence discusses her developing relationship with Omar Ali-Shah, whom she married in December 1964. The correspondence contains one letter from Graves to Anna Ali-Shah.
