Cecily Gittes writes to Beryl Graves and William Graves, principally about attempts by Archie Gittes and Nikolaus Schwarz, in the 1950s and again in the 1980s, to sell a Renoir landscape. The series contains transcripts of letters sent by Graves to Cecily Gittes, and other related copy correspondence.
