This refers to the arrangement of the papers in Robert Graves’ study before they were transferred to the College.
William Graves notes that this letter was found in a volume 'Selections from Swinburne's Poems' inscribed "R.R. Graves Lancaster, October 14, 1914". William Graves goes on to note that "If this letter refers to a Robert Graves Ms, then it was written either in 1908 or 1909, probably to Graves's mother. However, Rab Sheill claims he gave this letter to RG in 1965".
