Paul O'Prey's correspondence with Beryl Graves discusses his editing of the two volumes of Graves's letters, 'In Broken Images' (1982) and 'Between Moon and Moon' (1984), and the location and content of the public and private collections of Graves's papers which he consulted during preparation of the editions. He also discusses the biographies prepared by James McKinley (unpublished) and Martin Seymour-Smith. O'Prey, a close family friend, gives news of his domestic and working life and members of the Graves's circle encountered in Spain, where O'Prey lived with his wife Pilar near Granada in the early 1980s, and England, including Georgina Graves and Elizabeth Graves. The series also contains notes, copy correspondence with publishers and agents, and synopses for the two volumes of Graves's letters and a proposed volume of Graves's writings on literature; also notes on the Canelluñ theatre and birthday plays, and two poems by O'Prey.
