Written over two days discussing Isherwood and Shakespeare; Kingsley Amis; Edward Thomas, quoting some of his poetry; and a sonnet Larkin has written, the end of which is missing. The letter includes a conversation with himself (his Mind and his Bowels) about writing letters. (16pp). Includes an illustration of Larkin writing the sonnet in his room. The top section of the final page is missing.
