File of correspondence relating specifically to the publication of 'The Giant Alexander in America', written by Frank Herrmann. The file includes a significant amount of correspondence with the US publisher, McGraw-Hill, relating to the complications of agreeing the final text and handling the production and printing of the book. The file also contains some correspondence with the book's illustrator, George Him; correspondence with Marilyn Malin, of Methuen Books, publishers of the UK edition of the book; copies of Frank Herrmann's contracts with McGraw-Hill and Methuen; and royalty statements relating to sales of the book in America. Copies of Frank Herrmann's outgoing letters are also included in the file.

The file includes a brief covering note written by Frank Herrmann in July 2010, explaining the contents of the file prior to the deposit of this material with Seven Stories.
