Archivist's Note
Collection level description revised by Luke Bonwick and Nathanael Hodge, 2012. The whole collection was box listed by Kimberley Neate in May 2013 and catalogued to file level by David Plant, May-July 2015. Arthur C Smith's own list was used as the basis for the arrangement.
Custodial History
Donated to The Mills Archive by Arthur C Smith in July 2002. The collection was meticulously arranged, labelled and listed by Arthur C Smith himself. This arrangement has been preserved. A complete set of the County Windmills series of books was included in the collection. These have been placed in the Mills Archive library.
