Copy record of a letter from Charles Gerald Agnew to Colin George Agnew regarding dealings with an insurance company on damage to a painting by Veronese in conjunction with Ernest Duveen, art dealer. The letter also details a the potential sale of works by Adriaen Isenbrandt, Luca Signorelli and Lucas van Leyden held in Edinburgh, a work by Tintoretto (given with stock number) at the firm of Agnew's and works by Veronese and [ ] Longhi.

A handwritten postscript has been added detailing further works by Veronese and Tintoretto held in Edinburgh and works restored.
