Letter (16 Sep 1929) from Colin Agnew to Hugh Ladas Agnew, written from the Grand Hotel des Bains, Venice. He thanks Hugh Ladas Agnew for the wreath for Charles' [ ] funeral and states "What a terribly sad affair! I cannot understand it al all. David's and Leonard's deaths it seems to strike one with an added force of shock." He also refers to Knoedler's views on the "Sackville Van Dyck" and states he would prefer a half share in that painting to one on the "Crawford Rembrandt" and to his plans to travel to London.
