Letter (21 Dec [c 1887-1896]) from Lord Ribblesdale to Mr Agnew stating that he and some friends are seeking to underwrite a number of boxes at the opera that season and asking if Agnew will take a box. The letter states that Augustus Harris is seeking to secure the services of the brothers de Rezske and Mrs Albani if sufficient boxes are underwritten. Ribblesdale states the price of boxes and states that "H.R.H." and Rothschild have subscribed.
[Jean de Rezske sang at the Drury Lane Theatre during Augustus Harris' first Grand Opera season in 1887 and returned each year until 1901. Harris died in 1896]
