Administrative / Biographical History

The Courtaulds' Senior Staff Association was founded in 1943 as the Courtaulds' Monthly Staff Association. It was renamed the Courtaulds' Group II Staff Association in May 1960 and the Courtaulds' Senior Staff Association in November 1971.

Custodial History

The archive was deposited in the Centre on indefinite loan in March 1974. The assistance of the Chairman of the Courtaulds' Senior Staff Association, Mr P.D. Lishman, in facilitating the deposit is gratefully acknowledged. Additional material was deposited in August 1980.
