The folders are split into two groups:
These folders consist of 24 scrapbooks, each covering a different period in the history of the British monarchy. The front cover of each is labelled in pencil, and most have surviving numbers on the 'spines'. Together they span from 1066 until the 1860s. Some monarchs such as Richard II, Henry VII and Elizabeth I have their own dedicated books.
5 scrapbooks covering the following subjects; 'The Clergy', 'Children', 'Louis IV & Court' 'Stuart Furniture 1603-1714' and 'Georgian Furniture 1714-1800'. The front cover of each is labelled in pencil.
