It is explained that Margaret was entitled during the term of her natural life to certain parcels of land in the township of Pencoed called Bryn y Ceirch and Maes yr Odyn, which were assigned to her as jointure out of the inheritance of John Thomas, her deceased husband; now she assigns her life-interest in these lands, for a consideration not named, to Richard ap John Owen [her father] and warrants him quiet and peaceful possession for that term only.
