Administrative / Biographical History

Harold Jackson took first class honours in chemistry in 1934, followed by a M.Sc. in 1935 and a Ph.D. in 1937. From 1937-42 he was a demonstrator in physiology at the University. In 1945 he received medical degree from Manchester, and later specialized in pharmacology. He was head of the Unit for Reproductive Pharmacology and reader in reproductive pharmacology at the University of Manchester.
