Administrative / Biographical History
The first monthly meeting of Tonna Community Council was held on 2 Apr 1974 following the dissolution of Tonna Parish Council. Tonna Community Council was dissolved on 31 Mar 1983 in accordance with the provisions of the Neath (Communities) Order 1982 and the first ordinary meeting of the new Tonna Community Council was held on 24 May 1983.
