Walpoliana, chiefly correspondence received by Helen Toynbee while engaged in editing the letters of Horace Walpole, 4th Earl of Orford.

Administrative / Biographical History

Helen Toynbee (d 1910) was the wife of Paget Jackson Toynbee (1855-1932), the Dante scholar. Details are given in the Dictionary of National Biography.
