COPY LETTER received from Captain Arthur T. Jones originally sending amended paysheets and apologising for the errors. They had been told at Holyhead that they were entitled to mileage/run money but was returning it as the recipient did not think they were entitled to it. He details his attempts to sort out the income tax and suggests settling the matter when he re-joins the vessel. He asks if he can find A.B.s. and firemen in the area as 'the crowd to be found generally in Glasgow have been found to be trouble makers and agitators of the worst kind, and cause trouble at the slightest excuse'. He hopes the repairs on the vessel had started.
