Scope and Content

DRAFT MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT between Capt. William Thomas and Mr. Nicholas Treweek for the purchase by W. T. Of the freehold shipbuilding yard and graving dock together with lot 204 (the late Bodednyfed Estate opposite the office partly enclosed) for the sum of £1450. The purchase includes all winds, sheds, buildings, the engines and boilers, circular saw bench, iron work machinery, lathes, punching and drilling machines, plates rollers, plate and [?] blocks, with iron work, machinery tools and smith tools of 'great variety' as specified in an annexed inventory [missing], all materials being in a working state, 'some good and some bad'. NT to hold possession for 6 months to dispose of his stock and WT to commence any work he may wish to do at the east end of the yard east of the smithy. After 6 months NT to decline his business as ship writer, smith, block maker, ship chandler and sail maker in favour of WT and he engages not to undertake again in Amlwch such business for supply of shipping.
