(ii) Piers Mostyn of Talacre esq. and Henry Hughes of Greenfield gent.
Recites articles of agreement dated 8 March 1661 between (a) Edward Mostyn of Talacre esq., (b) Francis Ward of Lees Hall co. Derby gent, by which (a) leased to (b) all his lead-mines in Holywell for 41 years (with an endorsed covenant that (b) shall have liberty to get lead ore and other minerals in the lands of (a) in Llanhassaph [Llanasa], which lease is assigned to (i).
Now (i) assigns to (ii) liberty to get lead ore and other minerals in Llanassaph for the remainder of the term of 41 years.
Covenant by (ii) to supply (i) with what white coal he can conveniently spare out of his woods in Holywell, to be delivered at the smelting-mill of (i) near Holywell at the rate of 9s. a dozen, and not to sell white coal to any other person without the consent of (i).
Covenant by (i) to find cutters and carriers for the white coal, at the cost and charge of (ii).
