Scope and Content

The material consists of a range of items from Kenneth Armitage's studio. The items include driftwood, shells, and rocks (including some from Babylon); souvenirs from Japan, Africa, South America, and Europe (including figurines and wooden dolls); icons; Christmas cards and postcards (including one by Peter Potworowski, and one from MoMart); sculptures possibly by Joan Moore; a polystyrene dog (possibly made by Armitage or Joan Moore); a Newton's cradle; sketches by Armitage; candlesticks, glasses, a teapot and other ceramic items; novelty items; and other objects.

Many of the objects can be seen in the photographs of Armitage's studio elsewhere in this collection (see TGA 20034/2/6).
