Administrative / Biographical History
Glasgow University Missionary Association was founded in 1822 . The designation of the society was the association of theological students in the University of Glasgow in aid of missionary exertions. Members were required to pay an annual subscription, and the society also received donations. A committee of thirteen members as well as a president, treasurer, and two secretaries administered the society. The committee was responsible for the distribution of funds among parent missionary societies. Meetings of the society were held on an annual basis.
