Scope and Content

WRIT OF DISTRINGAS: To distrain the inhabitants of parish of Llanfairmathafarneithaf for failing to repair part of the common highway between Llanfairmathafarneithaf and Llanerchymedd towards and into Beaumaris ten thousand yards in length and in breadth eight yards.

Endorsed: NOTE: 6th May 1828 Received the writ, same day granted a warrant, Jones Panton Esq.

NOTE by the sheriff that he has distrained the said inhabitants by two wooden spoons to the value of six pence.
