Scope and Content

ORDER: County Treasurer pay the costs of the prosecution in the case of the King on the prosecution of Robert Ruttledge Esquire and Richard Jones, labourer for larceny from the common stock of the county. Richard Jones was tried for stealing one woollen carpet bag of the value of five shillings, one brass lock of the value of sixpence, one piece of brass of the value of one penny, one woollen cloth coat of the value of five shillings, one woollen waistcoat of the value of two shillings, and one woollen cloth surtout of the value of five shillings belonging to Robert Ruttledge. Also one pair of shoes of the value of two shillings, and one pair of ladies boots of the value of three shillings belonging to Elizabeth Watson widow, on the twenty third day of July last past in the parish of Holyhead. He was found guilty thereof.
