George Butler to his son George (b.1852)

Scope and Content

Written from Liverpool. Pleasant news that his uncle Montagu Butler (HM Harrow 1859-1885) (Master of Trinity College, Cambridge from 1885) has sent a cheque for £30 for him. Thanks to the generosity of relations and friends and his Exhibitions his financial position should be all right. Good advice about not overworking and so risking a break down.
