Expressing their interest and approval of her renewed opposition to the CD Acts now being proposed for the 'so called benefit of the army in India'. There has been no publicly expressed desire to re-inforce the CD Acts in Auckland but they are ready to oppose any such attempt.
Second letter thanking her for 'The Shield' which had been sent to her since 'your renewed opposition to the State regulated vice' and the renewed interest in this work is partly owing to the present of the 'Shield' 'which is being gladly received by many. First letter signed by 15 other sympathisers.
