He had seen Branwell Booth who had said that Josephine Butler's presence in London would be of great help to them all [Josephine Butler had gone off to Switzerland with her husband for a rest after the strain of the summer months] George goes on to say that RJ is in a cell and BB has just received his summons. If she travels back alone he or Stanley will meet her at Calais.
