Three sheets headed 'Private' and starting P.S. in John Findlater's handwriting. Written from [Rawal Pindi]

Says 'I have been again reading over Mr Findlay's letters since I got your note [see letter of 4 Jan 1900 from Henry J Wilson to John Findlater]. He stands up for Mr Findlay and says that the whole tone of these letters banishes the thought that 'he even leans to some kind of regulation'. He himself has only met one of the cloth who shut his eyes to Government Regulation.

This refers to Henry J Wilson's letter of 4 Jan 1900. Allowing 3 weeks for transit of letter, England to India, that would bring us to 25 Jan and then a few days for reflection; letter therefore could be dated 29 or 30 Jan.
