Josephine Butler to the three sisters [the Miss Priestmans]

Scope and Content

Typed letter. Written from 35 Argyle Road, West Ealing, London W [Mrs Terrell's home] (dictated).

Thanking them for their 'loving and beautiful letters'. She is exceedingly weak after several days of constant heart attacks and will have to stay in bed for some time. Before this she had been working hard at a 'In Memoriam' book about her sister, Mrs Meuricoffre [who died in Oct 1900 whilst JB was on the way home from a visit to her]. She hopes they will read the book when it comes out.
