Written from Winchester. Arising out of the meeting in Birmingham of 7 Nov (See Note) the National will invite all Repeal Associations to nominate one of their members to be on the Executive of the National. But (Mr Shaen said) they could not have Miss Bewicke. Whom should they nominate. Life is very uncomfortable at the moment, living partly in lodgings and partly in the mess and dirt of their house undergoing repair.
