She points out that a great deal of the Congress will be English projects so that they must 'try to leave room on some of the days for Continental friends to tell us of their hopes and works'. She thinks it impossible to have an official list of speakers and that it would be better to add a paragraph to the programme to say 'The following persons are expected to be present and to take part in the discussions of the Congress'

Congress opened Tuesday 12 Jul, therefore the Friday before would be the 8th and the date of writing Wednesday the 6th
