Scope and Content

No year but reference to her book 'Personal Reminiscences of Great Crusade' being finally published dates the letter to 1895.

'Besides my letter (see note letter dated 4 Apr) I have written a leaflet which our London Committee told me is much wanted'. This leaflet was entitled 'The Constitutional Iniquity involved in all forms of the Regulation of Prostitution' is given in full in the 'Dawn' May 1895 p 14)

10,000 leaflets have been ordered by Mr Stansfeld and Mr McLaren. Feels over burdened with work following news from India. Also family troubles including severe illness of Mia (George's wife) but feels in need of a rest and hopes to go to Switzerland if Mia is not worse. Agrees that the Ladies' National Association should do something special to honour Mr. Stansfeld which could be at their annual meeting.
