Josephine Butler to [Miss Forsaith]

Scope and Content

Photocopy of an incomplete letter [first part missing]. Written from [Cheltenham].

Says she is sending her 'a letter from Mme Avril and another from Mr Minod trusting you may have just time and heart to read them. Mme Pieczyuska wrote me that she believed Mme Avril listened to the reading of my letters (which I may say are full of Christ) with as deeply a religious feeling as anyone there'. Had a short visit from Mrs Terrell. She is full of hope and charity about Mr Bergner, her brother in law. She believes thoroughly in the Revival and that this is the day of 'God's Power'.
