Scope and Content

Photocopy of letter. Written from Lausanne.

She has left 'dear Gordanne and its kind people'. So glad that Stuart has been elected Rector of St Andrew's University. Mentions 'Mr Colman's will and Stuart's new responsibilities'. Thinks the Court of Cassation has been wise to order a 'Supplementary Enquiry' rather than release Dreyfus at once and give him over to a new Court Martial. It is said that some of these military officers have been embezzling enormously from the 'secret service funds'
