Two copies of a letter in French - identical except for slight additions at the beginning and the end of one. Written from Brussels. Describes how she was met at Liege by a deputation of 11 persons who had arranged a conference for that afternoon. Facts of the trade in girls were told by Pastor Durand and confirmed by others. Public opinion is beginning to be aroused. When she arrived at Brussels she was approached by the Vice President of the International Congress of Hygiene which is being held here, to come and place their questions before the Congress. She was unable to stay until the 27th but agreed to telegraph Dr Nevins and M. Humbert to come. She compares herself to Balaam's ass 'just made to walk in a certain path, and to speak words of rebuke to the wise'.
