The day before attended a Peace meeting at the Memorial Hall. In her speech quoted the last lines of his verses on Coghill and also paid a tribute to her husband the evening before.`

'Aimée': This was the daughter of Emily Grey (JB's sister) who in 1856 married William de Pledge and had three children. Aimée married a Mr Chapman c.1887.
