Administrative / Biographical History
This follows on in its theme the letter of 16 Jun 1882, also addressed to Emily Ford. 'Enclosed are notices of meetings. Can you come to some?' The meetings referred to were those of the Convention of Prayer organised by the Friends' Association for 24 & 25 Jan. [For Note on this Convention see JB to Miss Priestman 10 & 11 Nov 1882]. This gives us the year of the letter. Biog: Emily Ford; Lady Mount Temple (see under Cowper Temple).
