9pp. Originally there was a second copy to Miss Priestman. Appeal for individual service in the Committee work not leaving everything to organised secretarial work. She greatly regrets that she herself has been ill for many weeks and only able to do a minimum of correspondence, but now feels that she is to some extent restored she wishes to quicken the interest of everyone in the progress of the work. |Missionary work is essential to our success and must never be checked however humble the person. If the next Annual Conference is to be held in Belgium they must begin to work on that country as well as to stir up interest in the neighbouring northern countries. They purpose to hold a Committee meeting at the end of Jan 1879 and any points for discussion would be welcome.
