To say she has written to Sir Harcourt. Both Mr Stansfeld, herself and her husband think it is very important to get some reliable information from Belgium 'because all the most recent pro-Act writers on the Continent praise it up as the Paradise of Regulation'. J Nathan writes that Mrs Garratt Anderson [first English woman doctor to qualify and practise in England] 'has appeared in Rome and is setting herself to oppose their work'.
