Mr HJ Wilson to Mr Stuart

Scope and Content

Copy of letter. Writes about suggestion supported by Mrs Butler that he (JS) should be on the Executive of the Federation. HJW would welcome it but there is the difficulty that the number was fixed at the time of the reorganisation and it would not be right for them to nullify the decision of the General Meeting. The only constitutional way to proceed is for him to take his (HJW's) place. He is exactly the man for the job. If he agrees he will propose it to the Executive.
