Josephine Butler to 'Dear Friend' [Miss Priestman]

Scope and Content

To say how she had enjoyed the meeting: it was very moving.

She would have written sooner but little Josephine had had an attack of fever which lasted over the weekend but seems now to be recovering. She thinks a great deal about the suffrage and prays for the influences of the Divine Spirit to flow along that line.

Possibly 1890.
