Written from Halifax. Gives news that Swan has distributed nearly all the leaflets Mr W. sent him. Herford's paper is too diffuse and omits comparison of features developing in England with the same in Paris. He has now received £105; he has told all his friends it is to be an anonymous token of esteem. Memorials: any day between this and the 17th will suit him. He is desperately busy because of absence of his bookkeeper and it will be impossible for him to go to London. The meeting at Liverpool was good.
