Josephine Butler to Miss Forsaith

Scope and Content

Written from St Andrews.

Gives her a list of addresses for forwarding her letters for the next few weeks, and finally London where she hopes to get secretarial help. Thinks it excellent of our Committee to appeal to the missionary and other religious societies during the May meetings. Suggests cutting down numbers of copies of 'Storm Bell' from the printers. They are not asked for so much now as at first. At present she pays £8. or £9. A month and that will soon exhaust her purse.
