'Thank you for approving of my book'

This was 'Personal Reminiscences of a Great Crusade' an account of the movement for Abolition between 1869 and 1886' published in 1896. It was being reviewed by the Press; the 'Daily News' had a long article headed in large letters 'A Weighty Publication'. Thinks it has appeared just at the right time, '... when the great Pan-African Congress is held next week in London ... and distinguished people such as Benito Sylvain Aide de Camp to the Emperor Menelik'
