Josephine Butler to Miss Forsaith

Scope and Content

Written from St Swithin, St Andrews, Fife.

Thanks for sending her various gifts contributed, as she wishes to carry on 'this little humble educational work among the poor and working people'. She also sends herself a number gratis 'to the Continent and to selected opponents'. By all means let the Committee reprint the article in the Jan number describing what the Acts are; it could also be done as a separate leaflet, which would be useful to distribute at meetings.
