Asks her to send any other suggestions useful to the LNA Committee assisting the organisers of the Friends' Convention (see note) to her sister's London address where she will be staying. Complains of trying to do anything in the 'midst of plasterers, plumbers and ness. This house is a ruin...as old as King Ethelwulf.'

'on the Christian Association' This refers to the 'Friends' Association' which was then organising for their Convention in Jan 1883. There was a special committee of the LNA to assist.
