28 Mar [1883] Date: More likely to be 1883 than 1887. Amelie was at the Butlers in 1883 (see letter of 3 Mar 1883 AH to Mrs Tanner). Reference to forms used for 'Mr Hopwood's Resolution' in letter of 17 Feb 1883 JB to Miss Priestmans with Note and more petitions were needed for when the motion was to be brought up again by Mr Stansfeld on 20 Apr 1883. 'The petition form would be the same as for Mr Hopwood's Resolution'.
