Written from Courland, 419 Wandsworth Road, London SW, (her sister Mrs Thomas' house). The two American ladies [Bushell and Andrew See note letter of 2 Apr] will probably have concluded their evidence before May. After that they will be free to speak generally of their visit to India. She will therefore wait before writing a letter to their branches.

'After completing their evidence before the Departmental Committee (see RR No 669) Mrs Andrew and Dr K Bushnell addressed a series of public meetings in London and most of the large towns, describing what they had seen and heard in India. The series commenced with a meeting at St Martin's Town Hall on 21 May and included a meeting of the Women's Liberal Federation on 1 Jun.

'I should think the Annual Meeting of LNA might easily be held at the date to suit you and the other Friends' The Annual Meeting was held at St Martin's Town Hall, Charring Cross on 24 May 1893. Both Mrs Andrew and Dr Bushnell addressed the meeting at the public meeting in the evening giving an account of their work in India.
