Written from Winchester. JB does not intend to go to London to the meeting of the National so she will not be able to hold a Committee of the LNA then. The date will depend on when Parliament meets (will ask Prof Stuart about this). Asks for 100 circulars and 50 Petition Sheets to be sent.

29 Nov 1884 'Mrs Butler ... does not intend to go to London to the meeting of the National.' i.e. the National Association, central body of the Repeal Associations HQ in London. 1 Dec 1884. A Conference (Nat Assoc) Cannon St Hotel, to organise Repeal efforts (RR 476) 'Mrs Butler thinks that it is rather too early to print the Circular concerning the prayer meeting.' This refers to the meeting of 19 & 20 Feb to embrace a day of prayer on the 1st day and an evening meeting on the 2nd which would be the annual meeting of the LNA.
