Has pleasure in telling him that the first number of 'my little 'Storm Bell' is now in the printer's hands and will appear on 15 Jan. Suggested it would be a good thing to send a copy to each delegate to the Trades' Union Congress, who come from all parts'. 'I work with much heart and sense of relief in consequence of your kind and timely gift.'

JB was always interested in working men's associations both special ones in connection with her own work or their own trade associations.

In the early days of Trade Union Congresses JB held a Repeal meeting during the week of their Conference held at Leeds 13-17 Jan 1873.
